About the role

You will work on ServiceNow implementations where the interesting problem is rarely the configuration. It is understanding why a process has eleven approval steps and whether it needs them, then building something the service desk does not route around.

We are a small firm, which means you will talk to clients directly, make design decisions rather than receive them, and see engagements from assessment through to live running.

What you'll be doing

Configure ITSM and ITOM modules against client process designs
Build scoped applications with App Engine and Flow Designer
Develop integrations using Integration Hub, REST and SOAP
Contribute to CMDB design, discovery configuration and service mapping
Write and maintain technical documentation and decision records
Participate in upgrade impact assessment and regression testing

What we need you to have

Hands-on ServiceNow development across at least two modules
Solid JavaScript, including server-side and client-side scripting
Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub
Understanding of ITIL processes and where they are applied sensibly
Ability to explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder

Useful, not essential

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or CIS certifications
CMDB and CSDM implementation experience
Event Management and monitoring tool integration
Exposure to telecom or financial services environments
