Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 September 2026
This site collects very little, and only what you deliberately give us. This page explains exactly what, why, who sees it and how to get it removed.
Pending legal review. This document is a good-faith draft written for this website. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified legal adviser and should be before the site goes live.
Who we are
SegaKIV Info Tech operates through two separate registered entities: SegaKIV Info Tech Inc, incorporated in the United States in January 2024, and SegaKIV Info Tech Private Limited, incorporated in India in March 2024. Their offices are at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, County of Sussex (United States) and LIG-648, 2nd Floor, Rd No-5, Behind Malabar Gold, Kukatpally, Tirumalagiri, Hyderabad - 500072, Telangana (India).
For any question about this policy or about how we handle your data, contact us at reachus@segakiv.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no third-party analytics script on this site.
When you submit the contact form, we collect:
- Your name and work email address
- Your organisation
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- The service area and indicative budget you select
- The message you write
Why we collect it
We use these details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and to have the conversation you started. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send newsletters you have not asked for.
If your enquiry becomes an engagement, the details become part of the normal commercial relationship and are governed by the contract between us.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent — given by ticking the box on the contact form — and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries addressed to us.
Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, we rely on the consent you give at the point of submission for the specified purpose of responding to your enquiry.
Who can see it
Your enquiry is read by the people at SegaKIV who can answer it. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business — email hosting and website hosting among them. They process data on our instructions and are bound by their own contractual obligations.
Because we operate from both India and the United States, your details may be accessed by our team in either location. If your organisation has specific data residency requirements, tell us and we will accommodate them contractually.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for up to 24 months, so that we have context if you come back to us, and then deleted.
Where an enquiry becomes a client relationship, records are retained for as long as the relationship lasts and for any period required afterwards by tax, accounting or legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw consent you have previously given
- Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it
- Ask for a copy in a portable format
Exercising those rights
Email reachus@segakiv.com and tell us what you want. We will respond within 30 days. We will not ask you to justify the request, and exercising a right will not affect how we deal with you.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. If you use the light/dark theme toggle, your preference is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. That value stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it, and we apply the same access-control practices internally that we recommend to clients.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.
Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted here rather than made quietly.
