About the role

You will do the assessment work as well as the build — measuring real process volumes, classifying exceptions and producing an honest view of where automation pays back.

A significant part of the role is operating automations in production, which is where most RPA estates quietly fail. Monitoring, upstream change impact and straight-through rate improvement are core work here, not maintenance.

What you'll be doing

Run process discovery and automation suitability assessments
Develop RPA workflows with proper exception handling
Implement document extraction with confidence-based routing
Build LLM-backed applications with evaluation and guardrails
Monitor production automations and respond to failures
Drive the improvement backlog against exception causes

What we need you to have

Hands-on RPA development in UiPath or Power Automate
Strong Python or C# for supporting logic and integrations
Exception handling design as a first instinct, not an afterthought
Comfort analysing process data to justify or reject a candidate
Willingness to recommend against automation when the data says so

Useful, not essential

Document AI experience with Azure, AWS or Google services
LLM application development with retrieval and evaluation
ERP integration experience, particularly finance processes
Process mining tool experience
